As a retired Chartered Architect, I've spent years drawing buildings—precise lines, technical renderings, the language of structure and space. But this is a new beginning for me, where the graphic becomes a painting, where lines dissolve into planes of colour, where architectural understanding meets artistic interpretation.

Growing up on top of a cliff on the North Antrim coast, I became fascinated by the movement and colours of the sea, the dramatic forms of rocks and beaches constantly reshaped by the waves. Now living in the Chilterns, I'm equally captivated by the undulations of the land and the structural forms of the beech woods—the way ancient trees create their own architecture against the sky.

Whether it's the restless energy of a seascape, the quiet rhythm of rolling hills, or the urban geometry of a beloved street corner, I paint places that hold atmospheres all their own. That vista from your favorite hike, the coastline where you feel most alive, the landscape that feels like home.
